Interpersonal Relationship-IR

Interpersonal relationship (IR) refers to the relationship between two or more people. In normal life the IR does occur in friendship, family, work life and social interactions. The IR is stressed a lot in the today’s world, due to the changes in the work culture. As we can see the team work is stressed a lot in the current corporate preferences. When an individual works in a team, he is accountable to himself as well as team, for all his behaviors and results.
Like a famous Leadership debate called ‘Leaders are born or Leaders are made’, it is now the need of an hour to work on the possibilities and probabilities, on how to mold the leaders as well as players of the team. A set of 3 reactions such as Assertive, Passive and Aggressive has a lot of impact on the interpersonal relationship (IR). It is very important to be Assertive (Assertiveness is the ability to express yourself openly and honestly while also reflecting a genuine concern for others) in order to win all the tosses in life, where as being passive will affect you and being Aggressive will affect others. So, now the exercise begins to check on how to build on our Assertiveness. It all begins with Self-awareness, training, habituation and excellence. Remember, no direct boon (lucky you are, if it is god’s gift) no short cut.
The WHO (world health organization) has come up with 10 basic life skills essential for every human being; out of that IR is also one of the skills. This blog is intended to briefly discuss about these topics and bring awareness among everyone.

Sadly, men who haven’t grown up emotionally often struggle:

 - We all have patterns, habits, ways of doing things that feel comfortable and familiar. But men who haven’t grown up emotionally often get stuck in these past patterns. - If you notice a man who seems oblivious to his own behavior and its impact on others, it could be a sign of emotional immaturity. - If you notice a man repeatedly falling into the same patterns, especially ones that cause problems or pain, it could be a sign of emotional immaturity. - This lack of empathy can make relationships challenging. It can lead to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and a lack of emotional connection. Coping with Emotion.

Emotions:       Have you ever observed some of the situations occur in our lives?      Say, you are walking on a road; suddenly a biker comes and lightly hits you, so that your dress gets dusty. How do you react? Shout at him or physically hit him or you keep passive and just walk on the road. Suppose if you beat the biker, you did not have the intention or even think of beating the person, but why did you beat? It is all sudden, because there is always an internal action and reaction process which takes place between our hearts, mind and physical body, which we do not see. Thus in the same kind, emotions also do work within our body and mind. Emotions take many faces as per the situation like, Anger predisposes us to defense or fighting and Fear predisposes us to flight (run away) or fight.      What is Emotion?      Emotions are a complex state of feeling that results in physical and psyc...

Doing what's right builds confidence:

 - Doing what's right keeps your conscience satisfied. And this builds self-confidence.  When we do what is known to be wrong, two negative things happen.  First, we feel guilt and this guilt eats away confidence.  Second, other people sooner or later find out and lose confidence in us.

We, the people who were born between 1940-1985 are the blessed ones. Our life is a living proof of simplicity and tranquillity:

-  What a beautiful answer!  Comparison between two  "Generations" ....... Everyone must read 👌👌 A youngster asked his father: "How did you people live before with- No access to technology No aeroplanes No internet No computers No dramas No TVs No air cons No cars No mobile phones?" His Dad replied: "Just like how your generation lives today with - No prayers No compassion No honor No respect No character No shame No modesty No time planning No sports  No reading"  "We, the people that were born between 1940-1985 are the blessed ones. Our life is a living proof: 👉 While playing and riding bicycles, we never wore helmets. 👉 After school, we played until dusk. We never watched TV. 👉 We played with real friends, not internet friends. 👉 If we ever felt thirsty, we drank tap water not bottled water. 👉 We never got ill although we used to share the same glass of juice with four friends. 👉 We never gained weight although we used to eat a lot of rice ...

Life Begins When You Do:

It's up to you to make choices that work best for you. It really is all within your point of view. Regret is a matter of perspective. If you like who you are NOW, it follows that you can embrace, without regret, all the choices that led you here.  Difficulties impact me—they do not define me. Challenges mold me—they do not make me. Praise may encourage me—it is my own vision that inspires me. Success may spur me on but it is my own reward that satisfies me. Pain may permeate but my heart and hope prevail. Criticism and pettiness may knock but the lock is on my side of the door. Abundance may pave the road but it is generosity that lights the way. As long as I'm breathin'—I'm livin'. My way. Beginning every fresh moment—now! Source: simple truths promotional mail
