The art of building a successful and collaborative team:

Lindred Greer, an associate professor of organizational behavior at Stanford Graduate School of Business says, a creative and successful team should have members that have different ways of thinking, different backgrounds and styles of work, and different expertise,".

Further she comments, "Bring optimists and pessimists together; pair risk-takers with risk-avoiders. In other words, design a team around complementary but distinct attitudes and strengths."

- The leader's and followers' vision and mission should be aligned. For this, every team should take part in an orientation in which goals are stated explicitly, benchmarks are established, and responsibilities of each team member are made clear.

- For smooth functioning of the team, it's important for a leader to be well informed about happenings in the team. Left alone, small issues become bigger ones, and can disrupt team dynamics.

Right attitude is a great power (story):

😒A Businessman was deep in debt and could not see any way  out. 😒Creditors and Suppliers were demanding payments. He sat in the park, deep in thought, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy. 👍Suddenly an old man appeared before him and asked, "I can see that something is troubling you seriously". 👍After listening patiently the old man said, "I believe I can help you". 👍👍👍He asked the man his name, wrote out a cheque and put it into his hands saying, 👍"Take this money, meet me here exactly one year from today... and you can pay me back at that time". 👍Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come. 👌👌👌The businessman saw in his hands a cheque for $ 500,000... signed by Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world. 👍"I can erase my worries instantly...

Beyond Fear: How a Single Attitude Change Unlocks Growth:

🌟 Open the Door to Opportunity: The Power of a Positive Mindset We often encounter situations that highlight the stark difference between a closed, fearful mindset and an open, positive attitude. The choices we make daily—even small ones—are often dictated by whether we focus on the potential loss or the potential gain. A perfect illustration of this took place in a restaurant. I noticed the owner kept the large front door closed, essentially hiding a valuable marketing display and limiting the shop's visibility. When I asked him why, his reason was simple and fear-driven: "What if people will eat and go without paying?" His focus was entirely on preventing a minor potential fraud cost . The Opportunity Cost of Fear I challenged him to compare that small potential loss (the fraud cost) with the much larger benefit he was sacrificing: the marketing opportunity cost . By keeping the door closed, he was missing out on: ...

Why people at big companies are happy:

- Lets refresh our memories   - employees are emotional creatures. Events from personal life affect professional life and vice versa.  - Healthy work-life balance means different things to different people. Top companies realize there is no one-size-fits-all approach – they don’t tell employees HOW to achieve work-life balance. - As long as employees feel they are a part of something that is bigger than themselves, they remain engaged. Merge this with the freedom to design professional career path and the well-planned learning opportunities to succeed on those paths. Click to read full article from LinkedIn:

Leaders Get Results:

Secret 5: Leaders Get Results from  The 7 Secrets of Exceptional Leadership by Brian Tracy Results are everything–in life, in business and in leadership. Leaders are those who have developed the ability to achieve the most important results expected of them in their positions. The first question of the leader is always,  "What results are expected of me?" The second question leaders ask is,  "Of all the results that I can achieve, what are the most important results for my business?" There will always be too much to do and too little time, especially for leaders in their positions of responsibility. All of life, therefore, consists of making choices and decisions between what is more important and what is less important, between what you care about the most and what you care about less. The quality of your life today is a measure of the quality of your choices and decisions up to this point. To improve the quality of your life in the future, you must make bett...

Poem: For in the depths of our soul's dark night, Memories shine like stars, a guiding light:

- Forgetfulness: In minds where memories reside, A flame of remembrance,  let it abide. Don't let forgetfulness creep in, And steal the moments we hold within. For in the depths of our soul's dark night, Memories shine like stars,  a guiding light. They whisper stories of love and strife, And weave the tapestry of our life. So let us cherish every fleeting thought, And hold dear every memory we've brought. For in the realm of forgetfulness's sway, Lies a darkness that takes away. The laughter,  tears and moments shared, The love that once was,  and still is spared. The lessons learned,  the trials faced, The triumphs won,  the wisdom placed. So let us tend the flame of mind, And keep the embers of memory aligned. For in the warmth of recollection's glow, We find our identity,  and all we know. Source : Received through WhatsApp message.

Critical Thinking.

Critical Thinking:      One sense of the term critical means crucial. And in generic terms crucial means essential or important. The critical thinking is ‘ reasonable reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do’. In our daily lives we do so many tasks and take so many decisions like, daily life decisions to family decisions to business decisions. When we go to a grocery store to purchase milk can, we do not think much as to which brand and what quantity to purchase as this is our daily need and the factors are framed already. And at the same store if we purchase a dinner set for our families we look at many designs, take suggestions, think over and then we purchase it. So here we can say that, to purchase milk can we did not stress on our thinking, it was sub conscious, vise a vise to purchase a dinner set it required some decision making skills. Let us formally put the decision making skills put on to purchase the dinner set: 1.  ...
