The art of building a successful and collaborative team:

Lindred Greer, an associate professor of organizational behavior at Stanford Graduate School of Business says, a creative and successful team should have members that have different ways of thinking, different backgrounds and styles of work, and different expertise,".

Further she comments, "Bring optimists and pessimists together; pair risk-takers with risk-avoiders. In other words, design a team around complementary but distinct attitudes and strengths."

- The leader's and followers' vision and mission should be aligned. For this, every team should take part in an orientation in which goals are stated explicitly, benchmarks are established, and responsibilities of each team member are made clear.

- For smooth functioning of the team, it's important for a leader to be well informed about happenings in the team. Left alone, small issues become bigger ones, and can disrupt team dynamics.

How to be aware and take ourselves towards excellence:

- Perfection in humans is considered by most of them to be real goal of education and training. The question is, is the perfection possible? Or is it about excellence and not perfection? Let's understand what is perfection and how it is achieved. The process of improving something until it becomes excellent is perfection. Excellence is the quality of excelling, of being truly the best at something. Let's understand it by 4 levels: Level 1- I can do it! (Unconscious Incompetence) The Dunning Kruger Effect. Those who are overconfident though they dont have expertise. ATTRIBUTES - over confident  - arrogance - Keep commenting on others. THEY ARE IN PEAK OF MOUNT STUPID. 😂😂😂 Actions: Make them aware by feeding knowledge. Ask them to attempt the task. Give them pre test. Level 2- Realisation (Conscious Incompetence) VALLEY OF DESPAIR 😐 Attributes: Despair Grapes are sour Blame game. (Posotive- Zeal to learn, acceptance and submission) Actions: Motivation Success stories Level 3-...

Greatness by Evolution vs Revolution:

 - Greatness by Evolution vs Revolution: Every human has got his own individual uniqueness and goodness, through which he can benefit himself as well as the entire society. Reaching the Pinacle of Mount Everest does not happen headlong. It does happen day by day, step by step. You too can move towards your own personal mountaintop by taking each step at a time. The Everest climbers don’t jump up to the summit. No, they climb it bit by bit. There is a great amount of dissatisfaction among the people that they don't change even after going through a lot of life coaching seminars and other life skills workshops. What actually we need is we need to know really where we are struck in our micro steps. We have to clearly understand where are we getting struck and what actual solution and approach we need to follow in our each tiny step. Be it an improvement in work efficiency, bettering relationship, managing personal tasks well etc etc. I had this question in mind, there are tons of moti...

I began to realize that life is beautiful because of the world'

- Wise words - 1 In a relationship,  It is not a question of whose mistake it is. It is a question of whose life!  I cannot get a family atmosphere and life right,  by blaming others. It does not matter who is right or who is wrong.  What's important is the peace in the family Life. What really matters is that I got to get my life right.  It's never too late.  So, instead of expecting the world to turn,  I turned myself.  I began the process of demolishing my ego; which is a continuous process.  Instead of accepting myself as I am and expecting the world to change,  I accept the world as it is and it is  I who started to change. A Change For The Better...  Changing my approach towards the family, towards the world. I began to realize that life is beautiful because of the world,  as it is...  Also, I let life be beautiful in spite of the world. Our Family atmosphere needs it.  Losing the argument is better than lo...

Right attitude is a great power (story):

😒A Businessman was deep in debt and could not see any way  out. 😒Creditors and Suppliers were demanding payments. He sat in the park, deep in thought, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy. 👍Suddenly an old man appeared before him and asked, "I can see that something is troubling you seriously". 👍After listening patiently the old man said, "I believe I can help you". 👍👍👍He asked the man his name, wrote out a cheque and put it into his hands saying, 👍"Take this money, meet me here exactly one year from today... and you can pay me back at that time". 👍Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come. 👌👌👌The businessman saw in his hands a cheque for $ 500,000... signed by Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world. 👍"I can erase my worries instantly...

Hurdles in life are for good:

-   Once in a physics class, the teacher asked the students, *“Why do we have brakes in a car?”* Varied answers were received: “To stop” “To reduce speed” “To avoid collision” etc., But the best answer was, *“To enable you to drive faster”* Give it a thought. For a moment assume you have no brakes in your car then how fast will you drive your car? It’s because of brakes that we can dare to accelerate, dare to go fast and reach destinations we desire. _At various points in life, we find our parents, teachers, mentors & friends etc. questioning our progress, direction or decision. *We consider them as irritants or consider such inquiries as “brakes” to our ongoing work*._ But, remember, it’s because of such questions (periodical brakes) that you have managed to reach where you are today. Without brakes, you could have skid, lost direction or met with an unfortunate accident. *Appreciate the “brakes” in your life. Use them wisely!* Source: whatsaap message
