The right attitude can help you stay calm and happy even in the most difficult of times. This life skills blog includes tips on simple ways to make life better.

We wanted to share life enriching information with our friends and family during 2013, at the same time one of our co-founder was deciding to quit MNC job and work on life skills full-time. In thirst of fullfiling this ambition we were looking at various online platforms. Finally we came to know about blogger.com from Google. We humbly started our life skills blog simply called as 'life skills'.


What is 'life skills'?

According to World Health Organization (WHO), Life skills are defined as “a group of psychosocial competencies and
interpersonal skills that help people make informed decisions, solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, empathize with others, and cope with and
manage their lives in a healthy and productive manner. Life skills may be directed toward personal actions or actions toward others, as well as toward actions to change the surrounding environment to make it
conducive to health.” 

Bearing the WHO definition in mind, the 'Life Skills' blog offers people the emotional, social and intellectual information needed to achieve success in life – on a personal level, an interpersonal level, and within their community and work places.

Our main aim right now is to inform and educate others on various topics that will teach them about how they can live a more fulfilling and enriching life. Some of the topics we speak on and also collect and share from various sources for the blog. Here topics are discussed, from goal setting, healthy eating, improving marriage or relationships with dear ones, home living, and so much more.

We are an India based international Blog.
Currently we are having visitors visiting our blog from more than 30 countries. And as of 2021 we have published more than 250 articles.

Short Story with a Good Moral.! A farmer was taking three of his donkeys for sale to the market. On the way he saw a river and decided to have a dip. Since he had only two ropes to tie the donkeys to a tree, he looked around wondering how to tie the third one. He saw a sage and sought his help if he could give him a rope to tie the third donkey. The sage did not have a rope but had a suggestion. He told the farmer, “let the third donkey see you tying the other two donkeys to a tree. Then you pretend to tie this one also”. The farmer did as he was told and went for a dip in the river. Coming back, he thanked the sage and saw that the donkeys stood exactly at the same spot where he had left them. He untied the two donkeys and patted the third one to start moving. After going a little distance, imagine his surprise when the third donkey stood still at the same spot.
